Your data, protected
Bookwick holds bookings, customers and payment connections for thousands of businesses. Keeping that safe is built into how we work.
Encryption in transit
All traffic to Bookwick is served over HTTPS/TLS, so data is encrypted between your browser and our servers.
Encrypted secrets
Sensitive credentials, such as your connected payment keys, are encrypted at rest and never exposed in the dashboard.
Payments handled by Stripe
Card payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
Access controls
Accounts are protected by authenticated sessions, and each business’s data is isolated to its own tenant.
Reliable infrastructure
We run on managed, reputable cloud infrastructure with regular database backups.
Data ownership
Your data is yours. You can export it, and we never sell it or take a cut of your bookings.
Your customers’ data
When your customers book with you, Bookwick processes their data on your behalf as your data processor. We only use it to run the booking service for you - to confirm appointments, send reminders and take any payments you have enabled.
Payments
Payments run through your own connected Stripe account. Card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored on our servers, which keeps the most sensitive data out of our hands entirely.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, please email hello@bookwick.com with the details. We take every report seriously and will work with you to resolve it.
For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
